Many should know that I've been transferred to another CG. My new CG is W220. This is the 3rd week that I'm going to be with them. Well, I really thank God for this group of young people! They are such nice people who made me really comfortable in there.
Finally their very mature Bro, Kelvin came back from Thailand. Wow! I was really impressed when I saw him on Sat during CGM. I really feel that the whole CG united again because of him. He really sat the CG down and set rules for everyone. I was so challenged to have to memorise everyone's HP no. It was a great challenge though. I managed to get everyone's no. by hard on the way to church yesterday. Hopefully the no. are still in my mind. Ha!
Anyway, seeing him so in love with God and His people really makes me feel that I don't love God and His people enough. I was a little discouraged about myself. Felt a little inadequate. However, I thank God for His encouragement through Eunice and His Word for me in Isaiah 43.
Now, I'm more determined to work together with this wonderful group of people. I am secure in who I am in God too! I believe God will move powerfully through W220!!
P/S: Don't get me wrong. I still love W140!!! ;)

Jesus is the Minister of the true sanctuary!
Hey! I've been trying very hard to blog about what I learnt on Wed BS. However, my computer doesn't seem to like me blog.. I typed halfway through on Wed night and my computer hang. I pray that I'll be able to finish what I want to say and have a good fellowship time with God later!
Well, we rushed through the quick summary of the previous lesson before starting on lesson proper. Bro Kim Hock taught so fast that many of us were lost. Some were so lost that they lost interest in the lesson. However, I thanked God that I remained focused in listening and catching whatever that I can from him. Bro Kin Hock went a little off halfway through and started sharing about his mission trip to China a few weeks ago. Wow! I could sense his excitement as he shared. I could also identify with the kind of excitement that he had because that was the kind of excitement that we've been feeling since last week. Bro Kim Hock said, "There is excitement when you know you are in the will of God." Wow wow wow!!! I'm in the will of God!!
How many of us have our own favorite preacher?? How many have ever made comments like, "Oh, this week Pastor Kong is not preaching, I doubt I'll ever learn anything from this pastor who is preaching." Or rather, "I prefer Pastor so & so to preach instead of this." Ha! I was once guilty of that. Do you know that Jesus is the one who is actually ministering instead of the person who is preaching? Jesus is the Minister of the true sanctuary!!!! No matter how boring a service or BS may be? Jesus is the One who is ministering. We'll still learn something from that "boring" sermon!! We'll still catch something in the Spirit!! So no matter who is preaching, I always prepare my heart to get ready for the message and Jesus will minister to me and bless me!!
Another thing that I've learnt is why we are called OVERCOMERS! God knows that there are lots of challenges in life that we have to go through. So He made all of us OVERCOMERS. To overcome all our problems. We all have the ability to overcome, but are we using that ability given to us? I looked back at my past and realised how many "mountains" I'd overcomed and I'm still overcoming. Each time I walk over one, I will rejoice and know that another one is coming! Though there are never ending problems to be solved, I know that I grow stronger each time I overcome. There's a sense of satisfaction and victory. Many times there are struggles and we met problems because our will is clashing with God's will. However, when we learnt to let go and let God and say, "God, let your will be done and not mine." God will help us overcome and we walked through that victoriously again. I like what Bro Kim Hock said, " I rather suffer now, overcome the problems, when we come to the Great Tribulation, I can stand strong and firm. Than, keep siam-ing all my life and when we come to the Great Tribulation and DIE!"
Ha! How true that is!!! So many people have been running away from their problems and never get to solve their problems. So they never get to grow stronger at all. So when things happen all of a sudden, they wavered, collapsed or even have thoughts of leaving church. Our God works in contrary to how the world works. God wants us to keep overcoming every single challenge in our lives so that we can keep on building up on our own faith in God so that we are ready for whatever that comes in out way. In that way, nothing will overwhelm us again. God will never ignore us when we really come to Him with a humble heart, surrendering everything to Him. I'll never let my will clash with God's will ever again because I love Him and I know He loves me too!

My singing journey...
Hi all! I'm back again! I guessed I've grown to like blogging. It's a tool for me to write down my thoughts so that I can keep reminding myself what God has done for me. It's wonderful, and it's totally amazing what God has done for me this whole year.
I guess I need to clear the air of a question which most people will ask whenever they see me in church. Just yesterday alone, I was asked the question more than 4 times. A lot of people has been asking why I've not been singing on stage, or they'll see me and thought I was singing for the services. Well, if you asked me a month ago, my answer would have been, I don't know how to explain. I'm just not singing. Why? I do not know. However, now I have the confidence to answer the question! I have not been singing ever since I came back from Israel. It was a long 6 months' break. It was a terrible wait, not knowing if I'm still considered to be in the ministry. There was so much uncertainty and doubt within me. I've been left on the shelf because Sis Belle feels that I need to build up on my spiritual capacity. God knows I have to build my walk right with Him first before bringing me back. It was a humbling process. She conducted a few practices for a few of us and reminded us of the Potter and the clay story. Indeed, we are the clay that God is moulding. Whenever God feels that we are not in good shape, He'll put us through the burning furnance to purify us and to mould us into shape. However, when that is done and something is still not quite right, He'll leave us on the shelf. That's the humbling process. A time to develop patience and to keep trusting and believing that He is with us and will use us one day. Many times, it is when we let go of ourselves and say that God, I leave everything into your hands, that God will begin to take us off the shelf to use us. I can testify of this.
I can still remember the time when I went for my 1st choir audition. I was a little nervous. Everything was alright until I stepped out of my house to go for the audition. I started to sneeze and had a very bad flu. My nose was blocked and my countenance was very very bad. I failed the audition. It was a very disheartening moment because I know that's what I like to do and what God wants me to do. I couldn't understand why all that happened. It was a time of knowing that God has His perfect timing for everything to happen. It was also a time that God wants to know if I'm really willing to sing for Him no matter what happens and whether I can keep trusting that this is His calling for me. To cut the long story short, I was very sure this is what God has called me to do. So I went for my 2nd audition about 1 year later with a heart of knowing that if it's God's timing, I'll get in. I just let go of myself and let God do whatever that is pleasing to Him. True enough, that was His timing and I got in. Miraculously, I got into the BV ministry in the next 6 months. Why is it miraculous? Well, at that time there was a "rule" that said I had to be in choir for at least a year before I qualify to go for the BV audition. All and all, God is just great! It is great to know that everything will just go according to the will of God and His timing.
It is a wonderful journey living as a Christian. A journey of letting go of ourselves and lifting everything up to Him. Bit by bit I learned and leaps by leaps I move. After all the long introduction, I'm coming to my main point. I thank God that after being left on the shelf for so long, He is still my faithful God who will never let me down. After the practices with Sis Belle, there will be 2 outcomes. 1: Remain in BV ministry. 2: Go back to Choir ministry. I called Sis Belle yesterday and was assured that I'm still in the BV ministry. Actually I don't mind serving in choir as well because I'll still be singing for Him. However, I was excited because I know in can impact MORE lives when I sing as a BV. So I'll be back on stage again next year. 2004 is coming to an end. And I believe it's gonna end with a BIG BANG!

Something to share...
Although I'm very tired physically, I thank God that my Spirit is very much ALIVE! So here I am, before I go to bed today, I shall share about some revelation. Before I share about what I've caught during the services, I shall talk about my revelation through a conversation with Michelle.
We were having our lunch after the 9a.m. service today. Michelle then mentioned about her having a table but she never uses the table to do work. She'll do things on her bed instead because she's used to that. She just stacked lots of notes on her table. My "light bulb" lit up. How many times are we given things in life and yet we didn't make FULL use of the things? God has given us talents in life. Are we using the talents to its FULL potential? How many times have we seen the purpose of having such a talent and yet we belittle that purpose or perhaps didn't see the need of using that God given talent because we are comfortable at what we are doing now? I'm not sure if you'll get what I mean. Just want to say that a table is for writing and doing work, but don't congest it with lots of other things that will prevent the main use. Sometimes a lot of other things may come into our life to distract and block us from using our talents to it's utmost potential. So, we got to be careful to clear some of the unnecessary stuffs off our "tables". Sometimes, we may be so comfortable doing what we used to do and forget that God has given us talents to use.
My "light bulb" has been working rather actively today. Was just talking to Deb online and she said that her mouth is still in pain. She has an ulcer and she couldn't eat, or rather have no appetite to eat because of the pain. Sometimes there may be a problem somewhere and that problem is causing much hurt and loss of interest in some basic necessities in life. Why then are we delaying to solve the problems? Is it because in our heart we are not daring enough to try out the different solutions? I guessed so. However, I believe God has given us solution for all problems. No matter how big or small our problems may be, God is able to provide us with the right solutions.
I want to blog more... but I guessed I'll leave it till tomorrow. It's time to go do some other work. Cya tomorrow!

I'm excited!!!
Wow! Just read my dearest Huiling's blog on the NEW SHOES. I've put on mine!! How about you?? Well, I'm really excited today for a couple of reasons.
Firstly, I've got 3 friends coming for service this week!! More than just bringing them to boost the attendance, I'm excited because I know they'll be blessed by the Word of God. One of them promised to come after the school exams but kept disappointing me, but thank God she's coming tomorrow!! One promised Huiling to come every once a month and she's coming for this Sun 9am service. Another one was my student. Or rather my LITTLE friend in school. I didn't teach her, but she's been a great help to me during my 1st year in school. I owe my ACES day 2003 success to her! She did the PA system for me and got helpers to help me. I'm forever grateful to her. Ever since I know her, it's been in my heart to want to reach out to her. I've invited her once and was sorry that it caused her to quarrel with her mum. This time I muster my courage to ask her again and she agreed! I'm over the moon! I'm gonna pray that she'll understand the Word and she'll enjoy the service and the companions of my new CG members. By the way, in case you are wondering why is she my LITTLE friend, she's young but TALLER than me. So, she's not that LITTLE afterall. Haha!
Secondly, I went for Rev Dr John Avanzini's service today! It was really awesome!! It was something that requires time to think about and absorb. However, my spirit caught the Word faster than my brain did! Dr John talked about Jehovah Jireh! Do you know that this wasn't the name of God?! It's the name of the place where we know and we know that our God will provide! It's the place where we received God's promises! The place of victory is actually where I KNOW I have it and not during the time of manifestation. And we all got to make up our mind that God's promises are for us! They are for me and YOU too! Dr John also talked abt being God's steward. I'm really convicted in my heart to be a good steward of God's money whenI get my pay. All my money belongs to God. How can I squander them away unnecessarily?! I'm gonna spend His money wisely from today onwards.
Thirdly, talking about spending money wisely, I just made a new pair of spectacles. It's gonna make me look a little more mature. I guess that's something rather good for me! Haha! Finally I'm not going to look like a 16 year old gal. Don't be mistaken! I don't mind looking young, but I don't want to look like a 16-year-old-easy-to-bully person. Haha! Those who were present at my aunt's shop actually agree that this pair of spectacles suits me well. I shall wear it to church one of these days when I get it.
Fourthly, I'm excited to announce: I'm getting my pay in a few hours' time!!!!! And I'm excited to tithe my salary to my Father!!! I think this is the 1st time in my life that I'm so excited about tithing. I've really caught the Word deep in my heart! Thank God for the wonderful Word brought forth by Dr John.
Lastly, I just want to end by saying it's time to read God's Word again. I'll get new revelations and share again tomorrow. God says He'll provide FRESH manna EVERYDAY. Thank God for His revelations!!

40 days 40 nights (Part 2)
I was praying last night and before I ended my prayer, I asked God if He has anything to speak to me. Well, He just reminded me of Moses again. Remember Moses went up to pray for 40 days 40 nights before coming down with the 2 tablets of stones written with the 10 Commandments? The story didn't just end there. He came down, saw the Children of Israel sinning against God AGAIN. He was so angry that he threw the tablets on the floor and broke them. After that, he went up to pray for ANOTHER 40 days 40 nights. I learnt quite a lot from this story.
1. We ought to pray and keep on praying.
2. Sometimes even after much praying, we may not see what we desire to see and there will
still be disappointments.
3. It's ok to be angry, but after the anger, keep praying.
4. Moses' love for the people is so deep that he did not give up praying for them.
To sum it all, God just wants us to know that our love for people has to grow. It is only when we love them so much that we'll keep on praying for them and want to see them saved in the kingdom of God. Men are not perfect. Along the way, there will definitely be disappointments. However, if we love them, continue to pray for them. I have to increase my love for the people. This is an area that God keeps speaking to me for the past few months! I better do something about it. How? I guess only prayer can change things. I must pray and ask God to fill me with His love. Only when I am filled with His love, then I'll be able to spread His love to others.
1. We ought to pray and keep on praying.
2. Sometimes even after much praying, we may not see what we desire to see and there will
still be disappointments.

Do you have faith?
We had a prayer meeting last night at Ying's house. I don't know about the rest, but I was stirred up in my spirit and my faith increased. I sensed God wants to ask all of us a question, "Do we have faith?" Yes! No matter how tired or disappointed we may be, there will still be a little faith within us! Jesus said as long as we have faith as small as a mustard seed, we'll be able to move mountains!! This is what God spoke to me and got me really excited! Isn't this a great promise from God? So I have faith to believe that whatever I pray, as long sa it is according to the will of God and it is in faith, it will come to pass!!!
Also, today during BS, we learnt that Moses prayed for 40 days and 40 nights for the Children of Israel in order to ask God for His mercy for His people. He prayed and he prayed and he prayed and God answered His prayers. How long have we prayed for something to happen? Have we given up after praying once or twice? Do you think you've prayed hard enough?? Well, Moses prayed for 40 days and 40 nights. So, we ought to pray and keep on praying!!
Yeah! That's all I want to say for the time being because I want to pray and keep on praying for a breakthrough in my own personal life and for my CG, both W140 and W220. Let's pray hard together!

It's amazing! My computer keyboard is suddenly working!! And I can now use my computer again. Praise the Lord!
I'm not going to blog a long entry. Just wanna share something that Ying had prayed for me 2 or 3 weeks ago. This is the Word that was given to me by God through Ying. God brought me to that beautiful chapter again during one of the services. I shall just quote a few verses. Read Isaiah 43 when you have the time.
"Since you were precious in My sight, you have been honored, and I have loved you; therefore I will give men for you, and people for your life. Fear not, for I am with you." -Isaiah 43:4-5-
"Do not remember the former things, nor consider the things of old. Behold, I will do a new thing. Now it shall spring forth; shall you not know it? I will even make a road in the wilderness and rivers in the desert." -Isaiah 43:18-19-
I believe this chapter will bring me through the next few months of my life. Isn't it a wonderful promise that God has made? He will always perform the impossible and give us hope no matter how lost or desperate we may be.

Huiling's Graduation!
Hee! To make up for not blogging for so long, I've decided to blog 2 entries instead. Haha! Also because both entries don't really go well together under 1 heading. Haha! So here I go!
While waiting for the main audi's door to open, I decided to take some photos. So enjoy some of the masterpiece. Haha!
Take a look at the crowd that was queueing and waiting to get into the main audi to attend the graduation.
Jon & Soo (Nicely taken after much attempts... But Jon's expression.. Ha!)
Very nice pic of Evonne & Yingying...
My Dear Eunice's side view..
My Dear & me (taken by me!!)
And of cause, how can miss out putting pictures of the main star of the night? Sa to say, most of the photos are with her now and I couldn't load them. So meanwhile, enjoy what I have here.
Can u see how fast she moves? Thank God only her hand is moving here.
Huiling with the card we made for her. Nice?!
Representatives of W140!!
That's all I've got for the time being. Last but not least again, the following message is for the STAR!!
CoNgRaTuLaTiOnS to my DeArEsT hUiLiNg for your GrAdUaTiOn!!! Well done!! You've completed and gotten a Diploma in Theology! I'm so happy for you! You have climbed on to greater heights and moved closer to your destiny!!! I'm so proud of you! China is waiting for you... and ME!!

It's a new beginning!!
Well well well! I guess each time I blog, I need to start of by apologising for taking such a long time to update my blog. Had actually wanted to blog yesterday but was too tired and had a very bad headache. Even till now, the left side of my brain is still a little in pain... but I believe I'll be well when I wake up in the morning. If not, please pray for me!
Anyway, yesterday was supposedly my last day with W140. I'm going over to W220. With much emotions within me, I tried not to cry but I still teared. I know it is a great opportunity that God has given to me to rise up to His calling. There's really nothing to be sad about but it's a happy thing that I'm leaving. However, I can't bear the thought of leaving those that I've spent so many years with and also the thought that my Christmas and Appreciation CG this year will not be spent with them. Anyway, I want to say that: W140, I love all of you! No matter where I'll be, we are forever friends, brothers and sisters in Christ.
Perhaps some of you only see that it's a good thing that I'm leaving to pursue my calling. However, I believe God don't just do something for the benefit of one person. I believe God is doing a work in everyone's lives as well. For W140, it's time for everyone to go up to the next level of taking initiative to do things for the CG. It is time that I leave my comfort zone and step into the unknown. It is also time that everyone leave their comfort zone too and do more for God and for the CG. God is doing something that caused us not to remain where we are but to move on. It's a pity that I won't be there when W140 multiply. However, I'll be there to share your joy and rejoice together with all of you when it happens. Keep praying and stay connected as a CG. I think I'll miss serving you all and helping Huiling to do things. Now, I hand my responsibilities over to the rest of you to help and to serve.
To be a leader isn't as easy as what we think. A leader needs lots of support and understanding from his/her members. That's what my dearest Huiling needs. There are many things in life which we can't help her but we can help to lighten her load by supporting her and understanding her through our actions. When everyone starts doing the right things on their own accord, that is when the CG will start to grow. We've talked so much about taking ownership of the CG, so let's put MORE actions into our words!
Last but not least, I just want to proclaim: It's a new beginning for all of us!! Onward Christian soldier!!

Worship God in Spirit and in truth
I just want to take some time to write down what I experienced on Sun evening during our BV prac:
I was feeling very discouraged the past few days by things that happened. Shall not mention too much about what had caused that discouragement because that's not important. I went to BV prac with a heavy heart. I thought it's going to be a normal BV prac whereby we learn new songs together. However, God has a better plan for everybody who was present that day.
Our task for the day: Worship (Sing) individually in front of everyone and bare our hearts out when we sing. After singing, share what was on our minds as we worship Him.
It wasn't easy to sing and worship God alone because we were showing our most vulnerable inner being. However, we still did it.
We sang Pastor Sun and Bro Mark's song. We could really feel what each individual was feeling as they sing for God. From the singing, we could tell our relationship with God. The presence of God fell in the room as everyone started to focus and sing. Tears flowed down our cheeks.
It was through the singing and the sharing that I begin to know my fellow BV mates more. Realised that some people are going through certain tough times. I wasn't the only one feeling burdened. It was then that I felt all of us were closer to each other.
Worshiping God brought our hearts together. We see each other once a few weeks irregularly and never really get to know one another deep. This session really brought us closer. Like what Ying said, this is what ministry is all about. Ministry is about building relationship with the people in the ministry and growing in our relationship with God as we serve and minister to people.
At the end of the prac, we prayed for each other in twos and ended off the prac with a hug for everyone. Actually I always look forward to hugs. The thing is, I think my CG members don't really like to hug each other. I always hug my Eunice. And I often ask God to give me people to give me big big hugs. SO, I got it all on that day. Think I hugged 12 person altogether. Great sense of love from all those hugs. I think we all need such forms of love actions but are always too shy to do it.
My spirit is slightly lifted up after the prac and I went home to continue praying and to lift up my all to Him. So all's well now! I'm healed emotionally! Praise the Lord!
Whenever we worship God in spirit and in truth, the presence of God will be in our midst to set us free in our struggles. Worshiping God is not just singing a song. But we got to visualise God and mean every word that we sing to Him. When we mean every word we sing, we are worshiping in truth. We don't have to try so hard to be like other people. We can just be ourselves. We can afford to be vulnerable before God.
I really thank God for such a wonderful time that we had. Knowing it is one thing, only through experiencing it will you get excited and want more of it.
Wanna write more but my bro is back. I got to return the laptop to him. So, farewell!!

My Lovely Kids!!
These few weeks had been rather busy and packed. Straight after the pupils' exam, all the teachers have to take care of marking and making sure that there's no mistakes. We had to key in all necessary remarks, results, check, check and more checking to make sure that nothing is wrong. Finally there's the Deepavali holiday!!
Well, you should have read from Deb's blog abt Around Orchard in 180min. Well, it was a fun and enjoyable event. I thoroughly enjoyed myself with my team members and we were totally tired.. Haha! Can u imagine someone who dislike walking to walk for more than 3 hrs?! Yeah! I did that!! Though my team didn't win.. but all of us had fun. What awaits us was a nice meal at Cineleisure foodcourt.
After Deepavali, it was the Celebration by the Bay on Sat and Sun! Well, I'd learnt patience through the event of waiting for 2 hrs for my turn to have a go at the Bungee Trampoline. That was fun! Yunhao did a few nice somersaults!! My Eunice and other frens were there to support me. Haha! It was a great sensation to be up there.
Then, it was Hari Raya!! Thank God for this holiday. I had a good rest at home on Mon. I woke up at 10am then I read the Bible. Went back to sleep again. Woke up again to read Bible again. This happened a few times and I finished reading 2 Books of the Bible!!! I've been diligently reading the Bible ever since yesterday because I don't wanna lose track of what I was reading. Currently still reading the 1st Book of Samuel. Should be able to finish reading it today. I also managed to pack my room a little and cleared some drawers of unnecessary things.
Then, it's today! I went to Sentosa with my kids and Jayne. Jayne was there to help me to discipline my kids. This was my 1st time to the Underwater World and the Dolphin Lagoon. I believe 90% of my pupils had been there many many times. However, they still had much fun because I was there with them. Hahaha! So thick skin right? Bleah! Anyway, I volunteered myself to go into the sea to "play" with the PINK DOLPHINS. So I got to touch the dolphin and got kissed by it. I took quite a few photos with my kids too. I'm excited to load the pictures up. For those who heard so much about my DEAR JASON. You'll get to see him here. Real cute boy though! Enjoy! (Think u have to click on the file name to view the photos.. Sorry for the trouble)
Don't think I'm bullying him k! Look further down at other photos..

God loves you & I love you too!!!
Dearest all!! I miss all of you! Anybody miss me??? :p Well, it's been a very very busy week. Finally exams are over!!! I can now heave a sigh of relief. Haha! However, it means it's time to be busy for other projects...
Anyway, my keyboard is spoilt all of a sudden and I couldn't blog or chat online again. I brought my laptop home today so that I can blog. Was supposed to blog about my revelation last week but didn't get a chance. Was typing it out halfway and I realised I've got no more conviction to write about it. Hahaha! I'm more excited to share about my encounter with God on Tuesday. So here it goes:
I was invigilating a class then. Felt very tired and bored. Decided to make my time fruitful, so I decided to pray in my mind. As I continued to pray on, I suddenly heard my Heavenly Father called my name!! It's normal to hear people calling me Hui. But it's definitely not so with my Heavenly Father. This was the 1st time that I heard Him calling me Hui. Most of the time I only hear instructions and directions from the Holy Spirit. To hear Him calling my name was such a sweet feeling. I felt so loved at that moment. I went on to have a conversation with God. I asked Him for wisdom on how to deal with certain things in life. He told me a few things. One of it is, to love my pupils. Indeed God loves the world. No matter how young or old, good or bad, God still loves us. I looked at every pupil in the class and said a short prayer for everyone of them. Somehow, these past few weeks God has been reminding me to love people despite their shortcomings. He brought me into different situations to meet different kinds of people who irritates me and then He told me that He loves them despite everything that they had done. So, I ought to love them too if I really love Him. So indeed, I have to love God wholeheartedly and love people fervently! My message for everyone who reads this, is really that, God loves you and I love you too. Even though sometimes we may feel that people do not understand or do not love us, but God always loves us no matter what happens.
So while I was excitedly conversing with Him, I took the opportunity to ask for directions for certain issues of my life. I asked for a sign. Asked for another confirmation sign last night. And I got my answer!!! Praise the Lord! When I asked for the sign, I was thinking that sign was rather impossible to come to pass. Yet, another voice within me is saying, nothing is too impossible for God. So yeah, the sign came to pass. Indeed, nothing is impossible for God.
I came to realise that if God wants something to be done, He will make sure that everything is made possible. I'll blog about this the next time because I want to share this during CGM this Sat. If you are interested to know, come join us for CGM this Sat!!
Ok! Time to go and talk to my Father. So long!! Take care all my beloved ones! Love you lots!! :D

It's already 11.30pm. I don't know how long I'll blog. There's so much marking to be down but yet I felt that I needed to pen down my thoughts...
It has been a busy week. Everyday I woke up early in the morning to get to Bedok Green Primary School to mark the PSLE papers. Each day after work there's so much to do. I went to cut my hair on the 1st day, went to church for a special meeting with a missionary from China on the 2nd day and today I went for BS. I must confessed that I have yielded to my flesh and hit the bed every night after reading the bible. I've not marked anything and looking at the piles of work really frightens me. Anyway, tomorrow is the last day of PSLE marking. It's also my mother's birthday. I'm bringing her out for dinner. So there goes my marking time again. However, I believe there is a way out. Enough of my introduction, the reason why I still blog despite my lack of time is because I wanna share of what I've learnt and heard from God these 2 days.
Let's talk about yesterday's meeting with Pastor Dennis. He's an Caucasian but he speaks pretty fluent English, Cantonese and Chinese!!! He shares about what he has been doing all along in China. He showed us videos and pictures of what is happening in China. I'm amazed to see the wonderful works of God in the rural areas in China. God sent missionaries to China to spread the love and Word of God to these people. And because of these missionaries, more and more China people are added into the kingdom of God. Seeing the hunger of these people for the Word of God really touches my heart. Thousands of them gathered in a small courtyard listening to the Word of God being preached. Everyone is so attentive and earnest to copy down the scriptures as they do not have bibles. How blessed we are, to be living in Singapore whereby there is freedom of religions and we can get our bibles anywhere! As I listen to the sharing done by Pastor Dennis and watched the video, I could hear my heart crying out, "God, use me!" I have a heart for China. I want to be part of the team that God sends to do a work in China. I want to be trained and discipled to do His work. I know now is a preparation phase for me before I really enter into missions. So right now, I can only pray for China and contribute as much finances as I can for missions.
As I'm typing this now, I'm reminded of what someone dear to me told me when I tried to get her to come back to church. The reason she gave for not coming is, she is still at a micro level of wanting to know God whereas our church is moving into a macro level of being a blessing to others in missions. Like what Pastor Kong shared and what Ying reiterated in her blog, God doesn't just want us to be blessed. We shouldn't focus on the wrong covenant. We should be blessed SO THAT we can be a blessings to others! So many people missed their destiny and relationship with God just because they want to live in their own comfort. So many came to church just wanting to be blessed but not wanting to bless others. It's a sad thing to know that people stayed away from church just because they feel that missions are not for them. In fact, God has called everyone to be missionaries! Jesus said in Matt 28:19:
"Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit."
Well, I was disappointed in this dear fren of mine who rejected my many invitations. However, I will not give up in her. I believe my heart for her will cause her to be touched one day and she'll be back. She'll grow stronger in the Lord. The Word of God says, "Do not be weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart."
So, to Mic:
It is normal to be disappointed when people fail you. But don't let that disappointment get you down or get in your way of meeting God and fulfilling your destiny in Him. The Word of God says that we should praise Him IN EVERY situations. Our situations should never become a barrier between us and God. His ways are higher than our ways, His thoughts are higher than our thoughts too! I believe He has a better plan which we do not know yet. I also believe that God is building His people up spiritually to do His work. That includes you and I. As both of us have desires to touch lives and impact people, let's build ourselves up strong in the Word, spiritually mature, to be a light that shines wherever we go. Let's bear such a good testimony for Him that people will be attracted to us that we might direct them to God. Huiling reminded me this morning: The proof of our desire is in our pursuit. Let's do all that we can to pursue after our desire ok? With men, it is impossible. But with God, all things are possible. Yes!! The Word of God is true! You can do it together with God. You can do all things through Christ who strengthens YOU. Only through Jesus and not by your own strength. This verse applies not just to everyone, but that everyone includes YOU. Don't lose heart. Keep praying for your fren. I won't forget my dear frens too. Last but not least, Mic, I enjoyed the time we spent talking each time after our BS and before we pray. Thanks for sharing and for staying back till so late.
John 4:23:
"But the hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshipers will WORSHIP the Father in SPIRIT and TRUTH; for the Father is seeking such to WORSHIP Him."
Ps 29:2:
"Give unto the LORD the glory due to His name; WORSHIP the LORD in the beauty of holiness."
Wow! It's a long entry... It's 1am! I got to wake up in about 5 hours' time. So I shall stop here for the time being. I still have something else to share... perhaps I'll continue tomorrow. :D
PSLE marking...
Yesterday morning I went to play the guitar for Sis Ee Ling's cg. I was all prepared becos we just played the Praise song last week. However, I reached there only to know that I need to depose the song. Oh man!! It was tough playing those bar chords throughout. During the prac, I was so nervous. I kept playing the wrong chords. And know what? After the prac, I lost my pick!! That was the best pick. I got to make do with another one which does not sound as good. So I think I really got to apologised to Sis Ee Ling and her cg. Sorry sorry sorry. It was a good experience though. I can remember my SHIFU (Bro Merf) told me to know how to depose on the spot. I can also remember my beloved Huiling telling me to flow with the leader. Hopefully I didn't flow too badly with her. =D
Anyway, today is PSLE marking 1st day! I was out of my house early but reached the sch late. Waited rather long for the bus. Thank God I was about 10min late only. While I was running from the bus stop to the sch gate, there were 2 irritating guys standing at the sch hall laughing at me. When I finally reached the hall, I was hot and thirsty. I met my colleagues and saw one of the irritating guys. He looked towards my direction and smiled at me. I turned to ask my colleague if that was her fren, but she said no! So that guy must be laughing at me!!! Don't ask me how he look like. I was too embarrassed and angry to look at him carefully.
Really got to thank God for a good job. I heard my name being called. There were only 4 of us. I reported and was told we were to mark the open-ended questions. I got a shock thinking it's problem sums. Hahaha! But it was the easiest section!! I got what I prayed for. Thank God for that. We went in and started marking rather early. I was satisfied with my job and efficiency. We finished marking about 5 to 6 packs. Still below target but we were the fastest. Hahaha! Of cos! Cos we got the easiest section. But we haf a lot more work to do. Got to check, shade etc. There were boring times too. BTW, the highlight of the day was break time! Hahaha! We were given $3 coupons to buy food. I finished up $2.80 during the 1st break at 10plus. Wahaha! So I didn't eat lunch. Got my Muslim fren's $1 cos she's fasting. Thank God for that. Tmr I shall ration my coupons well. Hahaha!
Think that's all I wanna say for the time being. Hope I can haf more revelations this week to share. Heehee! Wait for me k! Meanwhile, thanks for visiting and reading!

Marking marking marking...
It's been a mad rush these few days trying to finish marking stacks and stacks of books and worksheets. How pitiful these kids are, having to do so many exercises altogether. Not forgetting how tired the teachers are trying to finish marking every single one of them to return them back to the kids for revision. Here's an interesting conversation between my kids and I in class:
Me: Today I'm going to give you 1 set of English and 1 set of Science worksheets. Hand in
tomorrow.
Kids: Huh!!! Ms Goh, we already have a lot of homework!
Me: Hmm.. I believe if you don't waste time talking, you can actually
finish some in class and have lesser to do at home.
Kids: Last night a lot of us finished at 12 midnight leh!
Me: (Feeling sorry but yet angry at their attitude) Well, I slept at 3am to mark your work.
Kids: Wa!!
Me: If you are complaining about doing 2 sets of worksheets, how much more should I
complain? Every 1 set of worksheet, I got to mark 42 scripts. If you do 5 sets, how many
would I have to mark?
Kids: (After much mental calculation) 210!
Me: Yes! 210 altogether! Who has more work?
Kids: You. (Speechless)
Me: So don't complain ok. Alright! You don't have to do the comprehension in the English
worksheet.
Kids: Yeah!!
So that's it! I guess it's happy ending! Hahaha! So they willingly have to do my work. The 2 stacks are now lying at my house... hmmm.. when will I be free to mark them? Got to finish them fast. Just gave out 6 sets today for them to complete during the PSLE marking days. Don't want the stacks to pile up. I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me!!! AMEN!

God is in time!
Hey folks! I have the last 10 min to blog before going for my TAF duty at 3.30pm. I just had dinner with my DEAREST EUNICE last night. It was a late celebration for my birthday. My dear was rather apologetic that it was so late.. but I don't feel it that way. Cos God actually has a perfect timing. :)
Anyway, we had noodles, baos and jiao zi at Crystal Jade. Very NICE! Hahaha! Thank God for her.
Also I wanna share this: I was actually feeling rather hungry this afternoon. Was about to go around asking my colleagues for biscuits when my HOD appeared. Thought he wanted to give me work to do... but he asked me if I've had my lunch. So I told him no and he said he had extra food and asked me if I would like to take the packet of MEE REBUS. God is great and in time!!! Hahaha! Surely He knows the desires of our heart and never fails to come at the right time.
Ops! The bell has rung! Byebye!!! =D

Perfect Love Casts out FEAR!
I'm using my bro's laptop now cos mine is low batt and I didn't bring my charger home. I was supposed to do my lesson plans but I decided to do that tomorrow when I go to school instead.. or perhaps later tonight (if I managed to keep myself awake).
Well, I wanna thank Deb for coming to my house to prevent me from falling asleep so that I could finish marking my HUGE stack of ENGLISH Activity Books. Praise the LORD! I'd finished and I'm here to blog. This might be my only entry for the week because I'll be real busy this week.
I had a meeting on Sat and realised there are so many things that I need to do and plan for the coming days. There's a CCA day coming up whereby we need to showcase our CCA to the P2 kids and their parents. Something new this yr, so lots of planning to be done. There's also a WALK & JOG coming up. This is also something new for this yr and I'm in charge of one part of the entire event. There are lots of new implementations as well. I think it's gonna be an even challenging yr next yr as I believe more things will be thrown under my charge. I pray for God's grace and wisdom to be upon me every single day of my life.
So, I'll be busy planning my work and finishing whatever that I need to finish. Finally gonna resume BS on Wed!! And also BV prac on Sun!! Yeah! Though I'll have lesser time for myself, but I think I need the BS and the BV prac to make my time more fruitful. Many times going for BS and BV prac actually strengthens me. Though sometimes I may drag my feet there because I'm physically tired, but after all it's all worth it because God moves through BS and even in prac!
By the way, I was worshiping in service today when I heard God spoke to me, "Perfect love casts out fear." Tears began to roll down my cheeks as I heard those words. I realised I've not perfected that love for God all along. If I had loved Him so much, I would not have feared when I faced my lack in life. To me, love for someone will cause a person to do whatever he/she can to make the person that he/she loves happy. Love will cause a person to go the extra mile. Love will cause a person to say, "No matter what happens, it is enough just to have You." This is a season that I need to put my total trust in Him and really love Him more than I love myself or anybody. There must be a conviction that it is good enough just to have Him alone. Nothing else really matters. I need to go the extra mile for Him and obey His call.
I thank God for sending His angels (u may be the angel I'm talking about)to bless me every single day of my life to keep showing me His faithfulness. God is never late. He is always on time. His Word always comes at the right time to encourage and lift us up. As I was looking through 1 John 4:18, the Holy Spirit reminded me that God is love. If I replace the word "love" with "God", it'll be:
"There is no fear in God, but perfect God casts out fear, because fear involves torment. But he who fears has not been made perfect in God."
Wow! What a revelation to me! Thank for this revelation. Thank God for His love.
